We "Get It"
Raising homestead kids is so rewarding, but we are sometimes blazing a new trail in today’s society.
Luckily, there are more and more people who “get it,” but that may not be your extended family, your church community, or your long-time circle of friends.
That’s ok, but you’re also not alone!
Our Vision
While traveling the country, I have received a lot of questions about how to raise kids on the homestead. These questions range from how to encourage chores and personal responsibility to how to help kids be comfortable with things that are no longer part of daily life, like butchering, eating home-preserved foods, and the added work of running a homestead.
Even though I can answer these questions, and I happily do! I always wish there was a way to follow up consistently. For those families to share their triumphs and challenges, and do this in a safe place, free of social media judgment.
What I will provide!
Not only will my husband and I be hosting a platform with a forum for sharing and seeking advice on raising self-sufficient homestead kids, but we will also be giving you the added benefits of our experience, research, and network connections to provide you with amazing support!
